Idiots in the News

This story has nothing to do with Charley Sheen, but he was the only idiot I could think of everyone would recognize! Everyday there are great stories in the news of people doing things they shouldn't, and boy do we have some shinning examples today!

#1 The guy that used Border Patrol Helicopter to ask a girl on a date for his son:

Students at a Virginia school will be talking about this for months!  The boy had asked his father, who was employed with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, to use their helicopter to drop a teddy bear over the school with an invitation for a girl to go with him to homecoming last week. Officials have said an investigation has been opened into the incident and the pilot has been relieved and reassigned to administrative duties pending completion of the review of the incident.

After all that trouble lets hope she said yes!

#2 A Kentucky man that has been charged with drunk horse backing.

That's right, a man was arrested for driving under the influence -- while riding a horse. According to police the 55-year-old was riding on a rural road near his house. When deputies asked him to dismount he staggered, so they decided to test his blood alcohol level which was two times over the legal limit! The arrest report noted, he "had several beers in his saddle bag and a mason jar which he identified as moonshine" as well!

Lets hope he wasn't giving any to the horse!

#3 Alison Pill of HBO's Newsroom for "accidentally" Tweeting topless picture of herself

She actually blasted pics of her girls to her 13,000+ followers, and immediately tweeted an apology saying, “Yep. That picture happened. Ugh. My tech issues have now reached new heights, apparently. How a deletion turned int a tweet … apologies.”

Come on! Do you really think this was an accident or her attempt at getting some free publicity?
