Today's question of the day is from another listener needing some feedback from you guys! The message I got on Facebook says, "Mack I was wondering if you'd ask your listeners about an issue my husband and I are arguing about. I think he's turning our eight year old daughter into a tomboy. He encourages her to ride a boys bike, play with boys toys and have a boys attitude, for instance telling her to speak up and yell at girls who talk behind her back. He even told her if a boy hits her, to hit him back! She used to be picked on but now I'm worried kids are afraid of her. My husband says he wants to raise a girl who is strong. I say he is raising a girl who is scary. What do you think?" Signed, Eileen Wow! From one extreme to the other. This one's tough because while I feel that there's nothing wrong with being a Tomboy, (I am one myself), I don't condone any type of bullying. That's why we ask our listeners to provide some feedback below . . . What do you guys think? Post your comments below or give us a call at 243-3699 and listen at 8:50 for more feedback!
