Did Punxsutawney Phil See His Shadow on Ground Hog Day 2014

Groundhog Day was overshadowed by the Super Bowl yesterday (February 2,) but we've got the details on Punxsutawney Phil's predictions!

I'll be honest, this is my LEAST favorite holiday! I mean, who decided some furry rodent was going to tell us if we're going to be cold or not?!

I'm sad to report that the cute little groundhog saw his shadow after he peeked out of his burrow on Gobbler's Knob in Pennsylvania on Sunday (February 2,) which of course means another six weeks winter!

But, while Phil may be the most famous weather predicting rodent, there are actually a number of groundhogs that report on Groundhog Day including:

1. Staten Island Chuck, who lives in a New York zoo, agreed with Phil’s prediction.
2. Potomac Phil in Washington, D.C., but don't believe a word he says! He’s just a stuffed doll.
