Grand Junction Rotary Event Could Win You $5,000

How would like to win $5,000 or $2,000 or even $1,000. That could happen at Powderhorn this Saturday.

The Grand Junction Rotary will be hosting a Red Ball Event at Powderhorn Ski Resort this Saturday at 3 p.m.

The video is from a Red Ball Event at Telluride Ski Resort. It will give you, at least, an idea, of the concept the Grand Junction Rotary is planning on. You can skip to the 4:45 mark for the real fun to begin.

The idea is simple. Take over 100 large, red exercise balls and roll them down a steep ski hill. Simple, right? So why are they doing this? Because it could make you a $5,000 winner.

Tickets are on sale for only $5.00 for two of the red balls. The first two red balls to completes the course will win it's ticket holder the Grand Prize of $5,000. The next pair to finish the course is worth $2,000 for their respective ticket holders. There is also a prize of $1,000 for the third place finishers.
