Let's make Grand Junction a part of world history.

Between the vast desert with plenty of room to work with, all the outdoorsy and athletic people, and an amazing community, Grand Junction has all the potential to break a world record. All it takes is a little bit of teamwork and organization.

Individuals may submit a free application to Guinness World Records and they will review it and let you know if it can be accepted as a world record.

Guinness World Records also helps non-profits and charities break a record in order to help a good cause. There are some incredible non-profit organizations in Grand Junction that could break a record with our help.

Two records were just broken this week. A company broke the record for 'Largest Human Mattress Dominoes,' which involved 1,200 people holding mattresses and falling over in a dominoes affect. A man binge watching TV for 94 hours was the other record this week. These two records are what inspired the thought of Grand Junction breaking a record.

So now it is up to you! What World Record should Grand Junction break and be known for? Any idea is welcome, almost anything can be made into a world record now-a-days.

Let's make it happen.
