Construction began this week, on a new solar garden in Grand Junction. Just one question...WTHeck is it?!

You've seen them before . . .

Fields and Lots full of solar panels, drawing on the power of the sun to produce electricity.

School District 51 owns a currently empty lot that they plan on adding over 6,000 solar panels to.

In addition the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Alpine Bank & Grand Junction Housing Authority will all likely subscribe.

Which should result in a savings of over $2 million dollars in the next 20 years!

Construction began this week (April 21st) and should be completed just in time for the sunniest days of the season, July.

Just one more question...can I get a piece of the action and save money too?!
