    Boots & Hats Liquidators

Highway 50 just past 27 Road

Some people (including myself) were devastated when Crawford Boot and Western Wear closed last August. Fortunately, in Crawford's old location, Orchard Mesa now has a new western wear store. For those who have no desire to drive all the way across town to shop for jeans, there's a new alternative.

NOTE: This business is not yet open. At this time, we do not have an official date for the store's opening.

    Oceanview Tan & Spa

    2692 US HIghway 50 Suite Q

With winter rapidly approaching, you might be wise to set foot in a tanning salon from time to time. Now, you no longer have to drive into town. Oceanview Tan & Spa is located in the Orchard Mesa Plaza, right off Highway 50, right next to the Maverick station.

Like they say on their Facebook page:

Upscale Tanning Salon at an affordable price. Pampering is what we do best!

    Reel West Entertainment

    1605 Highway 50

Driving by this place every day, I assumed they were selling games and gaming systems. It appears as though I was very, very wrong. What do they do at Reel West Entertainment just south of the 5th Street bridge?

According to their web page, the facility offers:

    • Over 100 skill reels and the newest video poker games
    • Liberal odds and generous payouts
    • Popular games like: Butterflys, Retro 7's, and Super Vegas
