    Friday, 6:30pm

    You don't necessarily have to be a fly fisherman to enjoy or attend this event at the Avalon Theatre. Tickets are $16 in advance, $20 at the door and include a couple of beverages, and tons of giveaways. This is a fundraiser for the Grand Valley Anglers chapter of Trout Unlimited.

    Saturday, 2pm-6pm

    18 holes of golf and lunch to benefit the work of the Roice-Hurst Humane Society. It's $300 for a four-person team at Adobe Creek Golf Course in Fruita.
