Final Episode of the Original ‘Star Trek’ Debuted 45 Years Ago Today [VIDEO]

It was exactly 45 years ago today, June 3rd, 1969, the world said goodbye to the original Star Trek series with the airing of it's final episode, "Turnabout Intruder." Unfortunately, it wasn't a happy sendoff.

"Turnabout Intruder" is generally regarded as one of the worst episodes in the series. You remember this one; it's the one where Captain Kirk changes bodies with an old flame, Dr. Janice Lester. This was the episode that allowed William Shatner to act badly in two roles instead of just one. Please observe:
