Early Christmas In Grand Junction

Looks like Christmas has come early to Grand Junction. Well, at least on one particular block.

Who doesn't love decorating a Christmas tree? I'll give props to these guys for a couple of reasons.

First, who says we have to celebrate when we are told to? Not sure what these fellows are celebrating, but my hat's off to them for being inspired. Plus, instead of the normal chopping down of a tree and ending its life, this group has decided to let the tree live on for many, many more years of celebrating.

The pictures really don't do this symbol of freedom and expression justice. You should see it in person. Who knows, there probably have been major additions to the number of ornaments since this picture was taken.
