When your bat flip is so high you need to file a flight plan with the FAA you know it's out of control.

Dakota Limon of Texas' Austin High School recently hit a home run and then flipped his bat so high and so far it may need an oxygen mask.

Limon is hard wired to flip his bat the way a second baseman is hard wired to throw a ground ball to first. You can see a few of the other times he's let his bat go airborne.

While Limon looks like he's got some power, you'd have to think that at some point he's going to run into a pitcher and a team that is not amused by his showmanship and retaliates by plunking him. That's bound to happen when you treat your bat like a javelin after going yard.
