The Maverick Stampede Rodeo is coming to town this weekend April 11 and April 12. Get details here! The inaugural Maverick Stampede began with the rodeo team releasing a herd of bulls on the campus quad and they plan on doing the "Steer Stroll", as they brand it, again this year at noon on Thursday April 10.

They'll even be handing out free passes to the rodeo if you attend this event!

The rodeo kicks off at the Mesa County Fairgrounds at 7 pm with events like bull riding, steer wrestling, saddle bronc riding and goat tying.

Tickets are only $8 for adults, $5 for students and military, and kids 6 and under are free.
