Youth Plan Climate Change Strike For Friday

Students from across our area are planning a Climate Change Strike. Youth will be gathering in front of the Old Mesa County Courthouse to show solidarity against the ever increasing climate change. Grand Valley Students United will be hosting the event this Friday, May 3 from starting at 3:30 p.m. which would be after school to make it possible so more people can attend.

The students will have speakers and you will be able to register to vote as well. The students ask for you to bring your signs and help bring about global change. Hopefully, with your help, we can all let our legislators know that we care about the climate and change can be made for this generation and generations to come.

All across the nation, students are gathering together on this day to bring awareness of the negative effects of climate change so that hopefully change will happen for the better.
