Your Christmas Tree is Home to Over 25K Bugs

That's right! I just read a study by the insect expert at a University in Norway, that says my real Christmas tree is CRAWLING with BUGS!

Now, I know this is one of those moments you're all saying "Duh, Mack! Of course it's got bugs!"

But seriously tell me how many of you honestly think about that when your shopping for that perfect greenery for your home?

I know I sure didn't!

And I would have been okay had it been a spider a two sneaking a free ride into my warm home, but up to 25,000 different insects and spiders?!

Some of the bugs they say you can find, include:

• springtails . . . which are sometimes called book lice or snow fleas
• spiders
• moths
• mites
• and bark lice

Apparently most of them burrow into the tree and hibernate for the winter . . . but they wake up when you bring the tree into your nice, warm home.

I think next year I'll stick to my fake tree!
