Who is Dierks Bentley’s Old Colorado Fishing Buddy?

Like any other country boy, Dierks Bentley likes to get in a little fishing. It seems he has a very well known fishing buddy here in Colorado.

That looks a little like Colorado's very own Peyton Manning, doesn't it? As a matter of fact, it is Peyton Manning.

It seems Peyton and Dierks are old fishing pals. The photo above was taken on Wednesday, August 2, 2017. There's nothing like a good stream, good buddies, and some hungry bears in the background to make for the perfect fishing trip.

It's hard to tell, but I can't help but think the bears are located between the two boulders just left and about eye level with Peyton. If they get in a jam, at least they have a fish they can jettison and make a break for it.
