Mark May 11 on your calendar. This is the day we celebrate "Eat What You Want Day." For many of us that would be any day. In this case, however, you can eat what you want and not feel bad about it. When you go out to celebrate, where's the best place in the valley to find "what you want"?

The easy answer to this would be one of the handfuls of all-you-can-eat-buffets found in the valley. You can get anything you want along with a side of anything and finish up with anything for desert.

Before you get too excited, spend a moment examining the photo at top. I don't know about you, but after a few seconds of looking at all of that greasy food, I can't help but get a little nauseated.

Where exactly did this "holiday" come from. According to Days of the Year, the event was created by Thomas and Ruth Roy of wellcat.com. It was their way to help people break away from the rigors of today's health and diet trends.

That's a pretty good reason to celebrate. Most health nuts and nutrition experts I know agree people should enjoy "cheat" days.

Okay, so it has been established you can eat anything you want on Thursday, May 11, 2017. Where will you go? Don't see your favorite on the list? Write it in.
