Where To Go Four Wheeling In Grand Junction
Now that the weather is nice we can break out the ATV's and get busy having even more fun!
Knowing where to go would probably help, so here are a few places you can go to enjoy the freedom of four wheeling while taking in some awesome views.
Head to the Bangs Canyon Management area and in the Thirds Flat section is where you can ride up to the summit and feel like you own the place. Be aware, though, there are others using this area, including people on bikes or horses or just hiking, so be careful out here!
In the same area is another trail you might enjoy called the Quad Rocker Trail. Exceptional views and mostly uphill, this ride will be exhilarating for both driver and rider!
In Fruita there are several places for you to ride and enjoy yourself and your surroundings. This is one of them. Within the area are several trails for you to ride and every one of them give you a great ride and amazing views.
The McInnis Canyons National Conservation Area holds some great trails to ride, including the Trail through Time, which has 140 million year old dinosaur fossils. Unique formations of sandstone and views as far as you can see make this one a must ride!
Some of the trails are a lot longer than others, so make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your time out here. And ride safe!
