A candy store just released a list of the most popular SUMMER candies, based on a survey of more than 2,000 people. What do you think came in the top Five?

I was thrilled when a candy store opened up in Downtown Grand Junction that sells all the old time, specialty & novelty treats!

Candy Cigarettes are by FAR my FAVORITE nostalgia candy, but they're called candy STICKS now, so that we don't encourage children to smoke . . . I'm ashamed to admit that I can go through an entire bushel in one day by myself.

Apparently I'm alone in my LOVE for the sugary sticks because they're not even in the TOP Ten!

According to the study the top five Popular SUMMER candies are:

1. Salt water taffy
2. Gummy bears
3. Jelly fruit slices
4. Tootsie Rolls
5. and Sour Patch Kids

Keep in mind all of the above may get gooey but they don't melt in the summer HEAT!
