Emergencies can happen at anytime know what to do and who to call. Be prepared in case you need your most basic items. If there is an emergency you can be notified sign up with the Grand Junction Regional Communication Center and Emergency and Community Notification System.  You can also sign up with the Mesa County Sheriff's Office and receive alerts log on to Nexdoor.com. Nextdoor.com is a private social network keeping you in the know with what is going on in the neighborhood you live in. You can also download the Fema Alert App directly to your smartphone. 

With the climate, we live in its a good idea to be prepared in case of an Emergency make sure you have your basic supplies to get you through at least seven days in case of a power outage.

Water One gal of water per day per person

Food nonperishable

Flashlights, cell phones battery powered radio

First aid kit,  medicine, prescription drugs, emergency blanket, and toiletries.
