COLORADO: Watch as Mama Duck is Reunited With Rescued Ducklings

Thanks to some diligent firefighters there has been a joyous duck reunion.

The little ducklings got stuck in a storm sewer this week and had to be rescued by the Denver Fire Department. The duckling good Samaritans used a fish net to hoist the babies to safety one by one. Meanwhile, mama duck waited patiently yet, anxiously, to be reunited with her five ducklings.

How the ducklings ended up in the storm sewer, nobody knows. All we can say is ducks will be ducks. The story ends happily as the ducklings are safely retrieved and returned to mama duck who was obviously relieved to have her babies back by her side. The ducklings look pretty happy to once again be on the heels of mama duck.
