If you already bought your bird for the big feast on Thursday, should you be worried?

In a nutshell, no. The only thing you should be concerned with is eating too much turkey.

But there is a hoax circulating social media that millions of frozen turkeys have been recalled due to a dangerous illness that apparently isn't killed when the bird is fully cooked and can be transferred to humans.

When your turkey is fully cooked to the temperature of 165 degrees, it's safe to eat.

Also, make sure that if you've stuffed your turkey that the internal temperature is also 165 degrees.

While the bird flu is a real thing, you will not get it from eating a fully cooked turkey this Thanksgiving.

Happy Thanksgiving and God bless.
