If the election was tomorrow, who would Mesa County elect as president? Trump or Clinton? Looks like it would be Clinton.

It's called the CMU-Rocky Mountain PBS Poll. Some think it's a for sure barometer for the up coming election. In fact, CMU President Tim Foster is quotes as saying that the poll is a bell-weather of what's going to happen.

  • 41 per cent for Hillary Clinton
  • 34 per cent for Donald Trump

It was put together and conducted by a Colorado Mesa University professor. The presidential poll represents about 540 registered Colorado voters.

Dr. Gollob did have help with this project. One student. One. CMU student Cory Massey, who says the poll is based upon research compiled from 60 or so phone calls, where only one was an actual full survey response.

Alright, so maybe this is not the most scientific poll or the most trustworthy of information, but it just goes to show you how we can be influenced by numbers and reports coming from all sorts of source. Plus, it's a great reminder that ALL votes count. Please make sure to get registered. Click here for more information on this process.
