If you and the family are planning a vacation soon, you may want to check this list of places that have banned Selfie Sticks. Not sure of all the penalties involved, but one man at the Running of The Bulls was fined $4,000 by officials when he was caught using his Selfie Stick DURING the bull run!

As of July 1st this year all Disney parks, both World and Land, have outlawed the newest wave of Social Media. It first was banned just on some of the more dangerous rides, but more guests complained and Disney decided to enforce it park wide. A spokesperson for the company has stated that they strive to provide a great family experience, but unfortunately the selfie sticks are becoming a major safety concern for guests and employees. So, don't be 'Goofy' and leave the stick in the car. The Moose out front should have told you this!

This ban was actually put in place back in 1980, although they didn't realize it. The museum sold the rights to all photos and video to the Japanese Television Network Nippon in exchange for helping to raise $3 million for restoration funds for the historic building. So, no photos by the general public at all.

Since the Fruita bear incident this week, we thought it would be appropriate to mention this place and why their ban is in effect. Employees at Tahoe are discouraging visitors from taking pictures of any kind, of bears, especially selfies. You should never turn your back on a bear. It is becoming a safety issue. So, 'be smarter than the av-er-age bear' and ditch the stick back at the hotel.
