The Iconic Oscar Meyer Wienermobile Will Be In Colorado This Weekend
Chances are, this jingle has played in your head at least once in your life (although, probably many more times than that).
Oscar Meyer fans, rejoice - because this weekend, the most popular wiener in the country is coming to Colorado.
According to hot dog officials, the iconic Oscar Meyer Wienermobile, a 27-foot long hot dog on wheels, will be making very special appearances in Aurora, Arvada, and Broomfield to share the brand's ultimate goal - to get an Oscar Meyer wiener in the hand of every American.
Where In Colorado Will The Oscar Meyer Wienermobile Be?
As part of the iconic wiener's year-round tour, the Wienermobile will be making multiple stops in Colorado beginning Thursday, Feb. 17 through Sunday, Feb 20.
The Wienermobile will be making stops at various King Soopers locations in the state; read on to find out where exactly the Wienermobile will be and when:
Thursday, Feb. 17
- King Soopers Aurora - 25701 East Smoky Hill Rd (between Smoky Hill Rd. and Arapahoe Rd.) Hours: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Friday, Feb. 18
- King Soopers Aurora - 15250 East Mississippi Ave (between Mississippi Avenue and Chambers Road) Hours: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Saturday, Feb. 19
- King Soopers Broomfield - 2355 West 136th Avenue (between 136th Avenue and Zuni Street) Hours: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Sunday, Feb. 20
- King Soopers Arvada - 14967 Candelas Parkway (between Candelas Parkway and Indiana Street) Hours: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
According to the official Oscar Meyer website, the Wienermobile was first created by Carl Mayer in 1936 and has been making its rounds across the country ever since. In fact, the Wienermobile coming to Colorado this weekend is just one of six Wienermobiles, all of which tour different parts of the United States all year round.
