It is hard to believe this year marks the 14th  year for the Home Loan Taste of the Grand Valley.

Every year, dozens of vendors join together to offer food and beverage samples to festival attendees. It's a great time for those doing the tasting, and tremendous exposure for the businesses with a chance to meet hundreds of new customers.

The food samples generally range from a main course type of sampling, to desserts, and appetizers, and there is always a variety of delicious beverages to try.

This year, throughout the event, United Way of Mesa County will sell gift cards to local restaurants for half price. The gift cards have been donated, and proceeds from the sale of the cards -- and from ticket sales will go directly to United Way of Mesa County.

Tickets are available for $13 at Enstom stores, Home Loan Insurance, and City Market. They can also be purchased on-line at TicketsWest.com. Keep in mind, there will be a $1.50 service fee for each ticket purchased on line. Tickets are $10 for seniors and veterans, and $6 for kids ages 6-12. Tickets will be $5 more at the door.

The annual event is coming up on Monday, February 8 at Two Rivers Convention Center from 4:00PM-7:30PM.
