The venue dates back to the 1890’s, Schroeder Hall, and is the second-oldest dance hall in Texas. It's a place where many famous country singers cut their teeth including: Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, George Jones, Ronnie Milsap, Roy Clark, Oak Ridge Boys, Charlie Daniels Band, Tammy Wynette, Ray Price and many, many more...

There are many -- too many -- country stars who have had cancer or have been personally affected by it in some way.

 Ray Price's final recording sessions, put into an album titled 'Beauty Is...' will be made available in April.

Although the legendary Ray Price has passed away, fans and friends alike will continue to fondly remember him and the impact he made on country music. Fellow crooner Merle Haggard remembers Price as "the first outlaw."

Friends and fans of country singer Ray Price are invited to a memorial to honor the legend this weekend.

Moments ago, it was announced Country music legend Ray Price passed away while in Hospice care at his home in Texas. Several Western Colorado musicians were inspired to share their thoughts and even their talents in order to pay tribute to the legendary performer.
