Randy Bishop, a man police consider to be extremely dangerous is on the run and police are asking for help.

Police have been going through neighborhoods looking for him, and have asked residents to shelter in place when they do.

Bishop is suspected of shooting at Officer Beau Becker in November after the officer chased him through the hospital, finally catching him and struggling with him. Bishop somehow managed to get the officer's gun and shot him with it. Bishop had escaped police custody in November and has been on the run since. Police had shot at him as he drove away. but were unsure if he had been wounded. The car he drove crashed a few blocks later, then Bishop ran from the scene.

Police are asking for the public's help in finding Bishop. If seen, do not attempt to apprehend as he is considered armed and dangerous. Contact Crimestoppers at 719-634-STOP (7867) or 1-800-222-8477.

There is a $10,000 reward for his capture and conviction.
