It's crazy to think how obesity in America has become such a problem, but when I was little I probably ate and drank worse things then the kids do these days. From candy, to Ding Dongs and Twinkies, even Suicide Sodas.

I'm not sure how many people will remember Suicide Sodas. I've always thought this was something that my dad had made up, but when I asked my wife if she remembered making Suicide Sodas, she said she had. And she is from Moab, Utah. So that leads me to believe that we are not the only ones who remember Suicide Sodas.

If you're not familiar with Suicide Sodas, let me break it down for you. It's real simple. When making a Suicide Soda, all you do, instead of filling up your cup with one kind of soda, you mix numerous sodas together. I usually start out with about half a cup of Mountain Dew, then add some Dr. Pepper and Sprite. I usually top it all off with a little bit of Root Beer. Then BAM!! You have yourself a Suicide Soda. A Suicide Soda, of course, can be made with any different kinds of sodas you so choose.

I remember when I was young and I introduced my friend to a Suicide Soda for the first time, he got a stomach ache for like 3 days. I made fun of him at the time, but now I see why this could upset someones stomach. It's a crazy concoction of different sugars and syrups.

Did you ever make a Suicide Soda? What was your favorite concoction?
