If you're looking for something fun today Friday, join us at Taste of Heaven Catering for a fun night of Bunko, silent auction, live DJ, cash prizes and spaghetti dinner!

If you haven't heard Baby Jason's story, grab some Kleenex and let me tell you about a young family who went from being ecstatic about the birth of their first baby to being terrified at 21 weeks because their unborn son’s Mitral Valve was closed and could lead to something called Hypoplastic or Left Heart Syndrome which would cause only half of his heart to develop.

Many doctors were seen and tests were done and on July 22nd Jason was born weiging 9lbs 2oz. Five days later his parents had to hand their newborn son over to undergo his first open heart surgery.

Jason's mom says, that was the hardest thing she'd ever had to do,

he just came into the world, and I was afraid that I would never see him alive again . . .

But thank the Lord due to the wonders of medicine and some amazing doctors 9 hours later he was off the bypass machine and stabilized.

Unfortunately this was just the first of a number of procedures Jason would have to endure in his life including multiple open heart surgeries.

That's why the community is getting together to raise funds for his on going medical expenses:
