Look what happened when an Airman mom surprises her son at a Grand Junction restaurant. Forget about Monday Night Football, this is one of the best tackles you've seen in a long time.

This was the scene at Grand Junction's Rib City at their North Avenue location. The video of their reunion has gone national.

Who Ordered the Okra?

That's Air Force Master Sergeant Teresa Black posing as a server at Grand Junction's Rib City. Her son, Rider, is completely unaware of what is about to happen.

Away From Grand Junction for a Long Time

Master Sgt. Black had been deployed to the Middle East for some time. According to her son Rider, the eight months his mom was away, marked the longest separation he has ever had with his mother.

Why Rib City Grill?

Well, put simply, it was Master Sgt. Black and her husband's favorite restaurant.

That's quite some tackle. I'm glad there wasn't a server or innocent bystander walking down the aisle. They would have been toast.

It's Tissue Time

This video is a real tearjerker. Rider is barely able to hold it together at 2:28. Mom gets a little teary-eyed, too.

Welcome Back to Grand Junction

Thank you for your service, Master Sgt. Black. In addition, thank you for sharing this homecoming event held at Grand Junction's popular Rib City. That's quite the endorsement. It's one thing to leave a good review on Yelp! It's something else entirely to ask a venue to host your homecoming.
