Did you hear  that the Aurora movie theater where 12 people were killed and 58 wounded during a midnight screening of "The Dark Knight Rises" on July 20th could be re-opening?

According to ABC News the theater could be open as soon as the New Year.

Last month, the city of Aurora posted an online survey asking folks what should be done about the Century 16 movie theater. Surprisingly the majority said it should re-open.

The results and a letter from Mayor Steve Hogan saying, "We believe that we are hearing, and indeed have heard for some time, a collective wish and desire for the theater to re-open." were given to the owner of the theater.

Even with the support of the community to reopen the site many have asked for things including victim and survivor visitation, memorials and a possible change to the exterior of the building.
