Rockslide Closes Glenwood Canyon Tuesday Morning
**UPDATE** Eastbound lanes of I-70 have been reopened. One westbound lane open at this time.**
Glenwood Canyon was closed in both directions this morning due to a rockslide.
The slide occurred early Tuesday morning in the canyon between Shoshone and Grizzly Creek, near mile marker 122.
The rock mitigation crew has been dispatched to the site, and authorities state it will take approximately three hours to clear the debris from the road.
Vehicles are being diverted to alternate routes on both ends of the canyon at this time.
