Randy Travis’ Naked Arrest

In case you haven't heard it's been a rough year for Randy Travis. Earlier this year he pleaded no contest to public intoxication after being found drunk in a parked car by a church following the Super Bowl in February, & he has recently filed a counter lawsuit against his ex-wife stating she ruined his career.

But it doesn't stop there! According authorities Randy was arrested this past Tuesday after being found NAKED, apparently smelling of alcohol and lying on a remote stretch of roadway in northern Texas just before midnight! Randy was charged with driving while intoxicated after a man called 911 to report a body lying in the middle of the highway. According to reports, police found him lying in the road with minor cuts and bruises after he crashed his car in a highway construction area. Randy also received charges of retaliation and obstruction after he threatened to shoot two of the police officers! Which is disappointing to hear from one of two singers who pulled of country music out of its early ‘80s death spiral.

Weather  he's breaking the law or not some of Randy Travis’ biggest fans showed their support for the singer after he was jailed offering cash, legal services and clothes. ABC now reports that Randy was found taking a nap in the road near his crashed ‘98 Pontiac Trans Am. A police spokesman said he was, in fact, brought to the station in the nude, but it was unclear how it happened. He was released on bond Wednesday morning.
