Randy Travis Drunk Behind the Wheel Again

For the second time this year Randy Travis has been caught behind the wheel while being intoxicated. See more about his drunken escapade below.

ABC News Radio confirmed from Sgt. Ricky Wheeler of the Grayson County Sheriff's Officef in Sherman, Texas that Randy Travis was found lying on the side of the road outside the town of Tioga heavily intoxicated. Troopers responded to the call at 11:18 p.m. to find Travis on the side of the road with a "strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath and several signs of intoxication" and arrested him for a DUI.

I wish I could say, for Randy's sake, that was the end of his problems. Unfortunately, Travis threatened to shoot and kill the troopers, which then resulted in an additional charge of retaliation and obstruction of justice. Both of which are felony charges. Sgt. Wheeler also added that Travis showed up to the police station butt naked. They have yet to verify if Travis lost his clothes at the scene or at some point on the way to the station.

Randy Travis was arrested back in February for celebrating a little to hard after the Super Bowl. Now just months later he is facing Felony charges and his second DUI. Travis was booked and held overnight, then released Wednesday after posting a total of $21,500 bond, $20,000 of which was for the felony charge. Just goes to show how it doesn't pay to party like a rockstar.
