Portion of Grand Junction’s Canyon View Dog Park Temporarily Closed for Renovation

The "Active Dog Area" at Canyon View Park in Grand Junction will be closed through late Spring 2016 for renovation.

The section closed is the center portion of the three dog areas. While the middle section undergoes a facelift, the small/senior dog area and the East portion of the dog park will remain open.

The Parks and Recreation Department will make upgrades to the irrigation and reseed. When the area reopens late next Spring, dogs will get to run and play in a new fescue lawn.
