If you like to walk your dog at various Grand Junction parks, which one would you say is your favorite? Taking into account size of the park, amenities such as dog drinking fountains, and to be blunt, least amount of riffraff, which local park is the cream of the crop?

Grand Junction is home to several great parks, many of which have accommodations specifically for our four legged friends. Then again, some parks are simply convenient, and thus make themselves more accessible to some.

There are at least two parks in Western Colorado which provide areas where dogs can go off leash - Canyon View's dog park, and Riverbend Park in Palisade.

Sherwood Park and Las Colonias Park in Grand Junction both feature doggie drinking fountains.

Of course, there are a few parks in Grand Junction which will probably never make the list do to the, oh... shall we say... transient factor.

Out of them all, taking into account all criteria, including convenience, cleanliness, overall area, and safety, which Western Colorado park gets the #1 ranking in your book for dog walkers?
