Politician Quits Post by Resigning in ‘Klingon’ – K’Pla!

"K'Pla!," is Klingon for "Success!" Last Thursday, North Carolina Town Councilman David Waddell submitted his resignation letter. Normally, this would be no big deal. Happens all the time. This resignation letter, however, was written in Klingon. Why? Why not?

According to Waddell, he wrote the resignation letter in Klingon as an inside joke.  In response, Mayor Michael Alvarez says the letter was unprofessional. In response to that, we say that Mayor Michael Alvarez is a doody head.

Waddell plans to devote his time to spearheading a write-in campaign on the Constitution Party's platform against U.S. Senator Kay Hagan. Why? Why not?
