Pet Food Recall Could Afffect Grand Junction

On the hinge of the Nestles and Stouffers frozen food recall, here we go again.

Pet food company Purina has announced a recall on certain types of their line of dog food. More specifically, their 10 ounce tubs of wet dog food.

This voluntary recall includes Pro Plan Savory Meals, Beneful Chopped Blends and Beneful Prepared Meals. The company states that many of these items do not contain the necessary levels or amounts of minerals and vitamins as is suggested.

The key dates you should be looking out for are the 'Best Before' dates labeled as June 2017 through August 2017. Purina suggest that you simply throw out any of these products if you have them.
