Look in your cupboard and see if you have any Gold Medal Flour, they are recalling 5-lb bags of its unbleached flour products that have the date better if used by April 20, 2020.

The flour products could be contaminated with Salmonella.

General Mills is recalling some of its flour products because they may be contaminated with Salmonella.

Salmonella is a group of bacteria that cause foodborne illness. Most people who get infected with Salmonella get the bacteria from contaminated food or water.

Contamination happens after infected feces comes into contact with animals, crops or water and people then consume or touch those items and don't wash their hands.
