Sunday, September 22 was to have been the last day of the Palisade Farmer's market, but thanks to demand, they have extended the market.

Harvesting has been going well for farmers and what better way to get their produce and fruit in the hands of folks like you and me than by extending the date to the last Sunday in October?

Having this extended time allows the farmers to sell their fruit, veggies, wine and more for a few more weeks, something the farmers are very happy about.

According to Field to Fork Farms Jessica Washowiak:

“It’s really amazing to be able to serve people direct. We do wholesale a lot of our produce, but we don’t get to meet those people. So, having the opportunity to meet people weekly, hear the recipes that they're making, and how they're enjoying the food is so rewarding for a farmer,”

The market will be closed next Sunday the 28th but will reopen the following week and stay open through October.

So if you need more of the fresh, delicious fruits and veggies the Palisade Farmer's Market is known for, you know have a little extra time to get it.
