Operation Interdependence Hosts Silent Auction/Chili Lunch Saturday 3/16

Thanks to the help of many volunteers Operation Interdependence ships donated items in civilian rations to approximately 2,500 military men and women every month! Fundraisers like these pay for the postage to continue their mission. You can support our troops by having some lunch this Saturday!

Karen at OI is always putting together great events with many activities & this one promises to have something for everyone!

Over the past few months local folks have been decorating bird houses that are now on display at Shabby Chic at 2586 Patterson Road here in Grand Junction.

You can view them through today at 5:30 and vote for your favorite before they're auctioned off during the Chili Lunch Saturday.

• Where: VFW Post 1247 located at 1404 Ute Ave. (extra parking in back lot)
• Cost: $2 a bowl or $5 all you can eat, Door Prize & Voting Tickets $1 each or 6 for $5

They'll have lots of door prizes including stuffed animals, a Disneyland towel, candy, and more!

Plus some really great chili!
