Female veterans in Colorado have another option when it comes to their license plates. See the license plate now available to female veterans in Colorado.

A new license plate is now available to Colorado's female veterans, which you can see below. The new license plate recognizes our state's female veterans and is available to any woman who retired from the United States Armed Forces or received an honorable discharge, according to KDVR.

These license plates are available for both cars and trucks and motorcycles, too. PWD (person with a disability) license plates are also available. The woman veteran plates cost $50 and proof of service in the United States Armed Forces is required.

As you can see below, the plates have an American flag behind Colorado's snowcapped mountains, along with lush, green trees, and a symbol with a bald eagle, two American flags and a silhouette of a woman in the middle.

Including the new women veteran license plate, there are 40 military license plates to choose from here in Colorado. I think that these license plates should be free to our military. They've made the ultimate sacrifice of protecting their country, the least we could do is hook them up with a license plate.

There are numerous license plates to choose from in Colorado including:

  • Denver Nuggets plate
  • Breast cancer plate
  • Adopt a shelter pet plate
  • Ski Country USA plate
  • Protect our rivers plate
  • Firefighters plate
  • Alumni plates
