With the big election coming up in November National Voter Registration Day should draw a large crowd. Find out where it is and how to register here . . .

National Voter Registration Day is a nationwide effort to encourage people to register and vote in the November election. My feeling is: you can't complain about the way things are if you don't express your opinion!

The voter registration event is a joint effort of Mesa County Libraries and the Hispanic Affairs Project.

WHEN: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012
WHERE: Mesa County Libraries Central Library, 655 N. 1st St. (the old Ashley Furniture Warehouse Building)

If you need to register make sure you bring a driver’s license or an official Colorado ID. If you don't have either you must provide a Social Security card.

National Voter Registration Day  is a non-partisan event intended to provide a way for Americans of all backgrounds and interests to support the nation’s democratic infrastructure by registering to vote.
