What a great way to start a week. First, today is Monday. Plus, it's National S'mores Day.

That ooey-gooey, oh-so-yummy campfire standard has been around for quite a while. The famous recipe that includes a melted chocolate bar and roasted marshmallows in between two pieces of graham cracker was first published in a Girl Scout book entitled 'Tramping and Trailing with the Girl Scouts.' in 1927.

Those early recipes referred to these treats as Some Mores, but no one really knows how or why it was shortened to its more familiar title of today.

Like everything else people have tried to improve on the standard recipe by adding all sorts of things. Is that a good idea? Here are some ingredients we found in recipes all over the internet. Agree, disagree or do you have your own secret addition?
