My Favorties Places to Take My Son in Grand Junction
Grand Junction is full of awesome places to take your kids for the day. Whether it's just to get out of the house for a few hours or a really great day trip, here are my favorite places to take my son.
Cabin fever is setting in so I've been looking for FUN stuff for my son to do since he can't play outside.
Our Favorite Places to Go:
The NEW play place, Imagine That! Kids at Play, next to Bibs to Cribs on North Avenue! With their help I've been able to keep my son entertained for weeks! It's like a mini Do Zoo, (if you're old enough to remember it) with different activity centers like a pirates cove, a full kids kitchen, automotive shop, grocery store and more!
Fruita Community Center Pool-Warmer than the other pools in town and it has great pool toys for all ages!
Bookcliff Activity Center - Wackey Wednesdays for ages under 7-All sorts of fun toys your kids pry don't have at home, like a mini bouncer!
Dinosaur Journey-Has fun for all ages including a site you can "dig" for bones!
Sledding-You don't even have to go far, the desert North of town has all sorts of hills!
Other Ideas:
- Walk the Riverfront Trail
- Water Park on Main Street
- Spin City
- Glacier Ice Arena
- Angelo's Paint Your Own Potter
- Ride bikes at the OM Skate Park
- Geocache
