It was supposed to happen last year but didn't because of the pandemic. Now it's back.

It was two years ago I was in Montrose for the Montrose Home & Outdoor Expo and really had a great time. It was such a big event and I had the chance to meet a lot of good folks. Last year, I was scheduled to be there again, but the event was canceled because of the pandemic. The good news is it's happening in 2021.

Spring is Here

What I have found is that people love these events. There is something exciting about taking on spring home improvement and remodeling projects - whether you are fixing up your house or the yard with windows, fencing, lighting, or landscaping. It also might mean furniture, home decor, gardening, health & fitness,  or even electronics. Having all of those experts and much more under one room is incredibly convenient.

What You Need to Know About the Montrose Expo

The Montrose Spring Home & Outdoor Expo is a three-day event, May 7-9, and so there's a good chance you can fit it into your schedule -even if you are making the one-hour+ drive to Montrose.

  • Friday: 12pm-7pm
  • Saturday: 10am-5pm
  • Sunday: 11am-4pm

The expo is held at the Montrose County Event Center, which is a really great venue. You'll find the event center at 1037 N. 7th Street in Montrose.

How Much Does It Cost?

Oftentimes, events like this charge you to come in and shop. Seriously? That is not the case with the Montrose Spring Home & Outdoor Expo. Admission is free and parking is free as well. I know that sounds too good to be true, but, I assure you those are the facts and nothing but the facts.

Hopefully, you can come out this weekend and check out the expo in Montrose. I will be on location until 11:00 on Saturday, so if you come be sure and stop by the tent and say hello.
