Mesa County Vaccine Clinics Looking for Volunteers
The pandemic has been difficult on all of us, changing aspects of our life that we would have never expected but we continue to adapt and overcome. And the people at Mesa County Public Health are excited about the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine, but they are asking the public for help as they need volunteers right now.
According to an article from KKCO, there are currently 200 volunteers but with many only working certain days or times it makes it difficult to manage all the registration tables, assisting those getting the vaccine and a variety of other roles as needed.
While no one is getting paid to volunteer their time many are feeling gratification from what they believe is helping the community and doing a little bit to change the world.
