Mesa County Tip-A-Cop for Special Olympics Looks to Top Last Year’s Total
Law enforcement in Mesa County love helping Special Olympics and this Saturday (October 22) they want a repeat as the top Tip-A-Cop for Special Olympics fundraiser in Colorado.
In 2015, the Mesa County Law Enforcement team raised over $5,050 making them the top fundraising team in the state.
This year, the team wants to surpass last year's success during the Tip-A-Cop Fundraiser this Saturday (October 22) at Red Robin Restaurant. You are invited to eat at the restaurant and tip the cops big time.
All of the tips given to local law enforcement will be donated to Special Olympics Colorado. Last year statewide, Colorado law enforcement agencies raised over $63,000 for Special Olympics.
Even if you only stop in for a cold beverage or a dessert, that's fine as long as you tip generously. Knowing that tip goes to a phenomenal organization will make you glad you did.
