Mesa County Sheriff’s Office Asks Public’s Help to Locate Missing Man

UPDATE: Friday afternoon the Mesa County Sheriff's Office said Darrell Pottratz was found safe.

The Mesa County Sheriff's Office is requesting your help in locating a 61-year-old missing man.

Darrell Pottratz of Grand Junction was last seen roughly 10:30 Wednesday morning, September 26, leaving his home at the 3200 block of Lorene Drive.

He is described as:

• Caucasian
• Blonde hair
• Blue eyes
• 5' 11"
• 205 pounds
• Blue pants
• Green zip-up sweater

Pottratz has difficulty speaking due to a stroke.
