Mesa County Libraries Looking to Fill Board of Trustees Position

Would you like to be on the board of trustees for the Mesa County Public Library District? There's an opening on the board, and you might just be the right person for the job.

What exactly does the board do? The seven-member board is responsible for overseeing the budget, policies of the district, bylaws, and long-range planning. In addition, the board hires and evaluates the library director.

What kind of commitment would you have to make? Good question. Board terms are a five-year commitment.
